Karen S. Wachs, Esq. is a skilled attorney who practices as both a commercial litigator and a transactional attorney. Karen focuses her diverse practice in commercial litigation, real estate and business matters, and condominium law. Karen’s combination of skills as a litigator and transactional attorney give her a unique perspective practicing law and assisting her clients. Karen’s clients have included lenders, developers, real estate investors and condominium associations. She has assisted debt purchasers and investors to manage and liquidate performing and defaulted loan portfolios. She is also very familiar with FDCPA and state consumer fraud issues. Business representation includes company formations, and the preparing of related documents including corporate by-laws, operating agreements and buy-sell agreements. Her commercial real estate experience includes purchase and sale of properties as well as lease preparation, review and negotiation.
Karen also serves on the Board of New Jersey Women Lawyers Association as co-director of the Grants and Charitable Giving Committee.
Karen received her law degree from George Washington University in 1985. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Maryland, College Park in 1982. She is a member of the NJ, NY, PA and DC bars.
